BOND ADDRESSES THE ST. LOUIS REGIONAL CHAMBER & GROWTH ASSOCIATION


ST. LOUIS, MO.  ––  In an address to the St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association (RCGA), U.S. Senator Kit Bond today discussed Washington’s role in the tough economy, creating jobs and infrastructure in St. Louis, trade opportunities with the St. Louis-Midwest China Hub, and education as a key to competitiveness and future. 
 
“Together we have accomplished a lot for St. Louis, but there is always more to do,” said Bond. “It has been a real treat to watch the St. Louis area grow into a world-class city and region over the past few decades, particularly in the twenty years I’ve been in the Senate. Unfortunately, right now, Washington is playing the villain when it comes to our national economic drama.”
